Space Cadet Defender HD: Invaders App Reviews

This game was very challenging and frustrating but i passed all 50 levels without spending a dime on the game. I recommend this game for those who want an app just to have fun and pass time.

Spoiler alert! -Game winning strategies This game, as others reviewers have already said, is both addicting and fun. Have passed a lot of time with it and perhaps too much! For some, it might bring on a little nostalgia, and it reminds me of similar outer space game play such as in Space Invaders, Maelstrom, and Galaga. The glory days! Having played through all 100 levels nearly three times, I learned to employ a defensive strategy. In the case of this game, it holds true that the best defense is a good offense. By putting all medals into defensive and energy-related gear, toward the more difficult levels my firepower wasnt able to keep pace. But by investing as much as possible into the firepower category (and dodging bullets like crazy, since shields were weak), I ended up being able to defeat that ugly mother ship at the end. Woo! Here are some changes that I would like to see in a future update: • Fix the bug in the options menu that keeps auto-fire from being turned off, or remove it if there arent plans to implement it. • Endless wave is endlessly frustrating, because there is little to no variation or reward. Each successive wave gets harder, but you receive little in the way of medals (versus the normal game play) and the cycle of 8 or so of the same exact combat levels gets boring, frankly (perhaps all some people care about are the leader boards, and good for them :)). Why not instead make endless wave let you replay any of the 100 levels you just spent 48 hours beating! • Create a toggle option for the "friendly fire" weapon specialty. The reason is, it can really impact game play if most/all of your bullets are hitting enemy bullets (of which there are loads) and not your target. Reflective shield bullets also suffer terrifically from this. Ive noticed this feature can sometimes do more harm than good, so why not give the option to disable it? How do you restore your purchase? I spent money to get upgrades but when I reset the game I lost my money. Now Im out five bucks.

Great game! Not a boring moment. Need to work on keeping your purchased medals when you want to start over again. I have to constantly buy more medals every time I start over-not fair!

I was enjoying this games till I got to Lv 49 which was doing a number on me so I spent some cash! Real cash because I was getting so little in the game an I purchased a bullet upgrade which did not help at all made the Lv even hard an got mad an deleted the game. I dont recommend this game.

DONT BUY REFLECTIVE BULLETS Its great up until wave 46 where they have just given you a new shield special, and let you test it out in a complete bullet hell, the only issue is if you have reflective bullets its literally impossible to do any damage and you basically just wait to die, over and over and over. I even went and payed .99¢ for some in game currency to try and beat that level by quickly switching between specials and its not possible. So now Im completely stuck and have to start over and not buy reflective bullets, witch may I point out dont reflect they just delete your bullet and the enemys. Complete waste of .99¢ because of a game crippling bug.

I enjoyed the game, but now it just keeps on crashing. When I press play on my iPad,..it crashes. Please fix as soon as possible.

Very addictive game! Only drawback is, that after level 50 you have to pay if you wanna keep playing. Other than that, Is a 5 star game

Yup youve heard it before and Im gonna tell you again... Level 46 is impossible unless you spend a ton of real money to beat it, all levels leading up to it are nowhere near its difficulty then you are stuck. Its a fun game but not fun enough to use my money... DELETE

This game is like a classic shooter but much better. Its one of those games that has much better gameplay than graphics. I must have gone through 20 games so far in the App Store both paid and free but this was the only one that stood out. I am up to wave 7 and so far have not experienced any ads or anything crazy. Hopefully it will get better from here on out but so far this game is awesome. Its simple yet fun to play. If your looking for something better than the old classic arcade shooters than this is it! I hear that at some point they will ask me to pay 1.99 for an extra 50 levels but to be honest I really dont mind supporting the developers for this game because its worth it. I would pay $5.00 for a game like this. What could make the game better is having huge boss battles. I like big bosses that are interesting and take a long time to shoot down but regardless this is a great game. Keep up the good work!
